Gluten Free Easter Nests
Making Vegetable Soup - As part of a procedural writing lesson, 1st class made vegetable soup in a slow cooker. They wrote the recipe in their copies and followed all the necessary steps, such as peeling, chopping and blending. There was a tasty cup of soup for the whole class by the end of the day!
1st Class tweeted RTE news2day to suggest a first quote for Dr Norah Patten if she realises her dream and becomes the first Irish person to travel to space.  Dr Patten visited the BT Young Scientists and 1st class watched her interview online.  They were delighted to get a reply!
1st Class - Penguin Portraits - These colourful pictures were created by painting, drawing, colouring, cutting and gluing.  It was a lot of work, but it was worth it!
Christmas “Elfies” -  A number of “elfies” came to visit 1st class during December. They look very familiar!
Jeremy’s Friendship Pies – During Friendship Week, 1st Class read “Enemy Pie” and decided to create friendship pies instead.
1st Class - “We All Fit Together” – This display shows that each of us are unique, but we can all fit together happily!
